You could play most games on Viverse without logging in. But, if you want to save your game progress, subscribe to VIVERSE Plus, create custom avatars, and access personalized VIVERSE features, you'll need an HTC Account.
Here's how to create an HTC account:
- Visit viverse.com.
- Click Sign In in the top right corner, then select Create New Account below the sign-in form.
Choose how you'd like to register:
- Sign up with an existing Google, Steam, MetaMask, or WalletConnect account, or
- Create an account using your email address.(Most recommended)
- Complete the registration process and verify your email address. Once verification is complete, you will be automatically signed in to VIVERSE.
- When prompted, enter your date of birth. This information is required to comply with age-related regulations and ensure you have access to age-appropriate experiences.
- VIVERSE will automatically assign a default avatar to your account. You can customize your avatar later. At this step, you need to decicde:
- Display Name: The name shown above your avatar in VIVERSE Worlds and leaderboards. This name can be changed at any time and does not need to be unique. For more information, see Changing your display name.

User ID: Your unique account identifier, which is used in your profile URL. Unlike Display Name, the User ID cannot be changed or deleted.

You can begin exploring VIVERSE immediately after setting up your account and customize your avatar, profile, and preferences at any time.
