Accessing DApps and other web-based apps

DApps, or decentralized applications, are applications that run on the blockchain. VIVE Wallet has a built-in browser that allows you to access and use DApps and other web-based apps.

Here’s how to open and use a DApp or web-based app:

1. Tap the Browser tab .
2. Under Favorites, tap the DApp or web-based app you want to use.
   
   The corresponding website will then open.
3. While navigating the website, do any of the following:
   

• Tap the Back or Next button to navigate through visited webpages.
• If the current webpage doesn’t display properly, tap > Reload to reload the page.
• Tap the Home button to leave the website and go back to the Favorites list.

Adding DApps and other web apps

You can add more DApps and web-based apps to the Favorites list. Here’s how:

1. Tap the Browser tab .
2. Tap the search bar, enter the website’s name or URL, and then tap the Enter key on the onscreen keyboard.
   Matching search results will be displayed. Tap the website that you want to add.
3. Tap the website that you want, and then tap  > Add to favorites.
   The name and URL of the website will be filled in automatically. You can edit the fields as needed.
4. Tap Add to add the website to the Favorites list.

Tip: Under Favorites, you can also tap Add, then manually enter the name and URL of the website that you want to add.

Editing your favorite web apps

You can rearrange or remove web apps under Favorites. You can also edit their name or URL.

1. Under Favorites, tap View all.
2. Do any of the following:
   • Drag an app up or down to change its position in the list.
   • Tap next to an app, and then tap Remove to remove it from the list.
   • Tap next to an app, and then tap Edit to make changes to the name or URL. Then tap Save.
